About the Role
The Senior Manager, Stock Plan Services International Participant Product will manage and evolve international participant capabilities within Stock Plan Services (SPS), ensuring compliant global delivery, strong execution, and alignment with broader SPS product and financial wellness product strategy. This role focuses on ownership and delivery of international participant offers, operating within the strategic direction set by SPS Product leadership. The Senior Manager will partner closely with cross-functional teams to support multinational SPS Issuers and their non-U.S. participants across the full participant lifecycle.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the product owner for international participant-facing SPS capabilities, with accountability for execution, performance, risk alignment, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap for Schwab's international stock plan participant offering.
- Own offer-level goals, performance metrics, and delivery plans for international participant products.
- Identify and prioritize opportunities to improve international participant experience while maintaining regulatory and operational integrity.
- Evaluate participant needs, market trends, competitive offerings, and business priorities to identify growth opportunities.
- Lead initiatives that improve enrollment, onboarding, account access, and ongoing servicing experiences for international participants.
- Drive adoption of fully featured brokerage accounts and expand participant access to Schwab products, services, and digital capabilities.
- Identify and execute opportunities to digitize manual processes and forms.
- Lead and partner with Digital on international participant enrollment experiences.
- Drive clarity and consistency in participant communications, including localized language, disclosures, and education materials.
- Partner with legal, compliance, risk, tax, and operations teams to evaluate and support international participant capabilities.
- Assess market-specific opportunities, constraints, and regulatory considerations that influence offer design and delivery.
- Support development of participant education and guidance frameworks related to international program features and processes.
- Lead cross-functional working teams across Technology, Operations, Legal & Compliance, Risk, Tax, and Marketing to deliver international participant outcomes.
- Influence stakeholders to align priorities, funding, and delivery plans for international offer initiatives.
- Establish reporting, success metrics, and governance mechanisms to support executive decision-making.
- Represent the international participant offer in strategic planning, client discussions, and leadership forums.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in equity compensation, stock plan services, global financial services, or product/offer management.
- Experience supporting international or cross-border stock plan participants.
- Ability to work cross-functionally across legal, tax, operations, and technology teams.
- Strong client-facing skills and ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into executable product solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate data, participant insights, and business needs into actionable recommendations.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with multinational issuers and non-U.S. equity plan administration.
- Familiarity with global tax, securities, and exchange control considerations impacting stock plans.
- Experience in Workplace Services or Stock Plan Services environments.
