About the Role
Indera (formerly ARISE/EFR) is seeking a Direct Support Professional to work in the Syracuse area with a gentleman who requires assistance due to accessibility needs. The individual is seeking a dedicated staff to provide him with support and assistance in maintaining independence both at home and in the community.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with transportation to activities within the community, specifically schooling at Syracuse University.
- Assisting with activities at the school.
- Assisting with home assistance with daily living skills.
Requirements
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Effective communication and organizational skills required.
- Flexibility with assignments and schedule required.
- Reliable transportation to arrive at the job site at the scheduled time.
- Must have technology available to download multiple apps for use in the community and abide by ARISE/EFR'S technology policy.
- HS Diploma/GED required.
- Background check, fingerprinting and DMV record check will be conducted prior to hire.
