About the Role
Growing aerospace/defense bearing manufacturer is seeking a QA Inspector. We will consider entry level applicants but it is preferred that they have background in Quality Assurance in a Manufacturing Environment.
Responsibilities
- Ensure parts meet quality standards.
- Interpret engineering basic drawings and industry standards.
Requirements
- Must have inspection experience with mechanical inspection instruments and/or an above average mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to interpret engineering basic drawings and industry standards.
- Applicants need to be self-starters, detail oriented and able to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret quality requirements, procedures, drawings, technical literature, or industry standards.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from other inspectors, managers and other personnel.
- Ability to apply basic mathematical concepts such as geometry and general math.
- Should have a basic understanding of SPC, process capability analysis and gage R&R.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Knowledge of Word, Excel, Access and other Microsoft products.
