About the Role
Formulate new business proposals, develop company forecasts and valuations, evaluate merger and acquisition scenarios, and prepare documents related to the public and private issuance of stock. This role involves working on every aspect of the transaction process, including drafting sessions, new business proposals, and due diligence meetings.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research using primary data sources and select information needed for the analysis of key themes and trends.
- Contribute to the development and delivery of financial policies, guidelines, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulations and good financial practice.
- Develop and amend investment models to provide input to senior colleagues and manage assigned portfolios.
- Advise managers on applying a wide variety of existing procedures and precedents.
- Resolve customer or supplier queries by providing information on complex processes and related policies, referring issues for interpretation when necessary.
- Edit documents in line with organizational style guidelines and prepare information for publication.
- Build effective working relationships within the internal client organization, delivering high-quality professional services with guidance from senior colleagues.
- Develop own capabilities through assessment, development planning, training, and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation.
- Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices.
- Analyze specific problems and issues to find the best technical or professional solutions.
- Develop short- or medium-term work schedules to achieve planned commitments, approving overtime or using additional resources as needed.
