About the Role

An admitted attorney is sought for an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney position at a premier law firm in the San Francisco area, offering significant growth opportunities. This role allows for valuable experience and career advancement within an established firm. The Associate Attorney will report to the Managing Criminal Defense Attorney, manage their caseload and client interactions, and collaborate with the Criminal Defense Team.

Responsibilities

Advise clients on their legal rights and draft legal documents.
Attend pretrial hearings and advise clients on case strategies.
Manage court appearances, trials, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
Analyze probable case outcomes based on legal precedents.
Manage case workload.
Provide legal analysis to determine potential case benefits.
Accrue evidence to support client cases or counter prosecution charges.
Prepare clients for depositions, define case strategy goals, and gather supporting information from witnesses and experts.

Requirements

Experience handling complex criminal cases at federal, state, and local levels.
Ability to be a team player, open to helping, strategizing, and working with fellow associates.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, but not required.
Highest caliber interpersonal skills.
