About the Role

Eastern Diversified Properties, Inc. (“EDP”), a subsidiary of the DARCARS Automotive Group, is looking for a Maintenance Technician / Handyman to join our facilities team. This person will be an integral part in supporting EDP’s ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and comfort of employees and customers in our automotive dealership facilities. A company owned vehicle is provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and cleaning of equipment, including HVAC system and air compressor filters.
• Perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs.
• Perform basic electrical repairs.
• Perform basic Handyman functions.
• Conduct and document regular facilities inspections.
• Recommend maintenance initiatives to supervisors.
• Provide assistance to other team members.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Ability to coordinate a variety of different projects and on-going assignments.
• Ability to lift at least 40 lbs.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to operate a truck safely and efficiently.
• Offers of employment are contingent upon successfully passing background screening (incl. criminal background check, review of consumer & motor vehicle records, verification of SSN).
