About the Role
Keystone Human Services is seeking a full-time Area Supervisor to support adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities. This role oversees assigned programs, ensuring financial, personnel, and programmatic goals are met, while partnering with clinical teams, families, and leadership to deliver effective services.
Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day supervision and guidance to assigned program staff
- Lead team meetings and ensure clear, consistent communication across teams
- Participate in leadership and management meetings to drive program strategy
- Support program development and problem-solving initiatives
- Collaborate with clinical teams on individual support plans and treatment processes
- Monitor program documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory and organizational standards
- Ensure high-quality care, safety, and well-being for individuals supported
- Serve as Incident Management point person for assigned programs
- Assist with budget development and monitor program expenses
- Maintain program productivity and utilization standards
- Support referral assessment and placement decisions
- Maintain strong communication with families/guardians regarding care planning and updates
- Represent the organization in community engagement and public speaking opportunities
- Participate in county and service area planning activities
- Ensure proper staffing levels and on-call coverage as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory or management experience
- Experience with regulatory compliance preferred
- Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Ability to learn and utilize web-based systems and documentation tools
- Valid driver’s license and access to properly insured vehicle
- Successful completion of the pre-employment process, including clearances and verifications
