About the Role
The Senior Software Engineer will contribute to the technical design, development (iOS primarily and some Android), and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, providing enhancements to existing technologies.
Responsibilities
- Contribute to the technical design, development, and integration of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.
- Provide enhancements to existing technologies.
- Design and ship secure, scalable solutions across the stack, focusing on iOS mobile applications.
- Guide architecture within your domain.
- Drive automation, comprehensive testing, CI/CD, and observability.
- Reduce technical debt and improve performance and reliability.
- Leverage GitHub CoPilot in Software Development best practices.
- Leverage current industry trends to drive measurable process and product improvements.
- Make data-driven trade-offs and recommendations.
- Perform project-level risk assessments.
- Define and execute mitigation plans.
- Embed security/privacy-by-design.
- Ensure adherence to policies and regulatory requirements.
- Stay current on regulatory changes.
- Partner with Compliance and Audit for effective oversight.
- Build strong relationships across product, design, operations, and partner teams.
- Communicate status, risks, and decisions clearly.
- Influence cross-functional outcomes.
Requirements
- Demonstrate experience in developing mobile applications on the iOS platform.
- Experience integrating with Java-based backend services in a cloud/containerized environment.
- Experience ideally within financial services or technology.
- Act like an owner, taking initiative and going above and beyond.
- Understand that success is in the details and possess strong critical thinking skills.
- Be a strong communicator, effective in engagement with all levels of the organization.
- Be legally eligible to work at the specified location(s).
- May be asked to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests.
