About the Role

This role focuses on supporting and growing people, strong team execution, and building solid technical solutions within the Security Engineering domain.
Responsibilities
- Work directly within the codebase, shipping code changes.
- Monitor Kubernetes clusters, tweak autoscaling, and/or CNAPP deployment.
- Drive remediation of cloud/infra vulnerabilities against SLA.
- Produce audit evidence to maintain current authorizations.
- Collaborate with team, development, and production engineering groups to understand business challenges, identify impactful opportunities, and craft team roadmaps.
- Design and implement technical solutions to improve Clio’s logging and security posture.
- Provide feedback on code reviews and architecture documents to support team members' technical decisions.
- Actively participate as a contributor through code reviews or shipping code.
- Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct reports to support career growth and development goals.
- Actively participate in hiring to grow the engineering team.
Requirements
- Skilled in securing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP/GSuite, GitHub, IdP) with experience in AWS and/or GCP.
- Experience owning a security-compliance program (FedRAMP / StateRAMP / GovRAMP / SOC 2), including audit evidence and continuous monitoring.
- Adept with Terraform + GitOps (Flux/Argo) + Kustomize; KEDA-based autoscaling.
- Demonstrated success in people leadership in software development, particularly with large scale SaaS products.
- Strong background in cloud computing and cloud security.
- Diverse knowledge base to help teams solve complex technical problems.
- Ability to hire, coach, develop, and retain engineering talent.
- Possess strong opinions that are weakly held, and foster this attitude in others.
- Believe in providing honest, actionable feedback and encourage team reciprocation.
- Devise roadmaps to guide the team, with adaptability to change.
