About the Role

This role focuses on supporting and growing people, strong team execution, and building solid technical solutions within the Security Engineering domain.

Responsibilities

Work directly within the codebase, shipping code changes.
Monitor Kubernetes clusters, tweak autoscaling, and/or CNAPP deployment.
Drive remediation of cloud/infra vulnerabilities against SLA.
Produce audit evidence to maintain current authorizations.
Collaborate with team, development, and production engineering groups to understand business challenges, identify impactful opportunities, and craft team roadmaps.
Design and implement technical solutions to improve Clio’s logging and security posture.
Provide feedback on code reviews and architecture documents to support team members' technical decisions.
Actively participate as a contributor through code reviews or shipping code.
Conduct 1:1 meetings with direct reports to support career growth and development goals.
Actively participate in hiring to grow the engineering team.

Requirements

Skilled in securing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP/GSuite, GitHub, IdP) with experience in AWS and/or GCP.
Experience owning a security-compliance program (FedRAMP / StateRAMP / GovRAMP / SOC 2), including audit evidence and continuous monitoring.
Adept with Terraform + GitOps (Flux/Argo) + Kustomize; KEDA-based autoscaling.
Demonstrated success in people leadership in software development, particularly with large scale SaaS products.
Strong background in cloud computing and cloud security.
Diverse knowledge base to help teams solve complex technical problems.
Ability to hire, coach, develop, and retain engineering talent.
Possess strong opinions that are weakly held, and foster this attitude in others.
Believe in providing honest, actionable feedback and encourage team reciprocation.
Devise roadmaps to guide the team, with adaptability to change.
