About the Role
ING's Business Banking division seeks an experienced Product Manager to lead the Daily Banking (Liabilities) portfolio. This role involves defining customer value, shaping the strategic roadmap, and driving commercial performance for key products, focusing on enhancing customer experiences through digital solutions and data-driven insights.
Responsibilities
- Own the Daily Banking product strategy, customer value proposition, and roadmap across accounts, payments, cash management, and ecosystem integrations.
- Drive growth, engagement, and primary banking relationships within the Daily Banking portfolio.
- Lead product innovation in onboarding, payments, and in-life servicing in collaboration with technology and delivery teams.
- Improve customer experiences and funnel conversion through digitalization, automation, and self-service initiatives.
- Manage portfolio and funnel performances, optimizing deposits, transaction volumes, customer adoption, retention, and commercial outcomes using data and customer insights.
- Embed AI and data-driven decision-making into product development to enhance customer experience, operational efficiency, and delivery outcomes.
- Manage the end-to-end product journey, including application, operational, and in-life processes.
- Influence senior stakeholders by balancing customer experience, commercial priorities, and risk requirements (KYC/AML, fraud, regulatory obligations).
Requirements
- Extensive Business Banking product experience, with proven knowledge of daily banking, deposits, payments, and customer servicing across business banking segments, especially SEM and SME.
- 5+ years of proven success in defining and executing product strategies that deliver customer growth, funnel conversion optimization, engagement, adoption, and commercial performance.
- Experience in designing and optimizing end-to-end product processes.
- Exceptional product leadership experience across the end-to-end lifecycle, working closely with agile delivery and technology teams.
- Commercially astute, highly analytical, and confident using customer insights, data, and AI to inform priorities and product decisions.
- Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
- Ability to operate effectively in a complex, highly regulated environment.
