About the Role
Account Executives are pivotal to Gartner’s growth, with direct access to C-level executives globally. This hybrid role focuses on client renewal and retention while also driving new revenue through contract expansion and introducing new services. You will partner with existing Gartner clients, leveraging internal experts to address critical priorities for enterprises with over $1B in annual revenue.
Responsibilities
- Manage a quota of circa $1.2m USD in contract value.
- Manage 10-20 large enterprise accounts.
- Retain and grow existing clients.
- Partner with Customer Success colleagues to drive high-value engagement.
- Execute client meetings to review ROI and ensure timely service renewal.
- Conduct high-quality outbound activity to generate new opportunities.
- Partner with C-level executives to develop and implement enterprise-wide strategies.
- Guide customer satisfaction, account retention, and growth through collaboration.
- Own forecasting and account planning on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Contribute best practices, peer collaboration, and a positive influence within the team.
Requirements
- 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in complex, intangible sales.
- Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Experience selling to or influencing C-level executives.
- Proven ability to precisely manage and forecast a complex sales process.
- Willingness to conduct EMEA-wide travel.
