Responsibilities
- Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
- Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior repairs.
- Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
- Respond effectively to all emergencies.
- Prepare summary reports detailing findings and recommending actions.
- Study and become familiar with equipment and methods required for daily activities, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building equipment.
- Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and identify and propose methods to eliminate safety hazards.
- Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
- Support after-hours building-related activities as required.
- Attend periodic training seminars.
- Perform other assigned operational tasks typical of a Mobile Engineer.
Requirements
- Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
- Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
- Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders.
- Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Skills
- Universal EPA 608 Certification
- Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
- Experience managing work orders
- Experience utilizing CMMS technology
- Experience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial facilities
