Responsibilities

• Perform ongoing preventive and repair work orders on facility mechanical, electrical, and other installed systems, equipment, and components.
• Maintain, operate, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior repairs.
• Perform facility inspections and due diligence, reporting on conditions impacting client occupancy and operations.
• Respond effectively to all emergencies.
• Prepare summary reports detailing findings and recommending actions.
• Study and become familiar with equipment and methods required for daily activities, including building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building equipment.
• Comply with all safety procedures, maintain good housekeeping, and identify and propose methods to eliminate safety hazards.
• Maintain compliance with State, County, or City Ordinances, Codes, or Laws.
• Support after-hours building-related activities as required.
• Attend periodic training seminars.
• Perform other assigned operational tasks typical of a Mobile Engineer.

Requirements

• Minimum of four (4) years of technical experience in building engineering, with a strong background in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
• Possess and maintain a valid state driver’s license.
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb up to 30 ft. ladders.
• Ability to perform on-call duties and overtime as required.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Skills

• Universal EPA 608 Certification
• Knowledge of overall MEP/HVAC system design and application
• Experience managing work orders
• Experience utilizing CMMS technology
• Experience working in a service-related role, specific to commercial facilities
