About the Role
Join JLL as a Mobile Engineer serving commercial facilities across New York State. You will be the first line of defense in maintaining safe, comfortable, and operationally excellent environments for clients by traveling between assigned buildings, responding to service needs, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring all building systems operate at peak performance. This role offers the opportunity to apply technical expertise across diverse facilities, build client relationships, and contribute to JLL's reputation for facility management excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repair work orders on mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and building systems across multiple assigned facilities.
- Maintain, operate, troubleshoot, and repair all HVAC systems and associated equipment, electrical distribution equipment, plumbing systems, and building interior/exterior components.
- Conduct facility inspections and due diligence assessments, documenting conditions that impact client occupancy and operations.
- Submit detailed summary reports to management.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, including after-hours building-related activities.
- Operate and monitor building automation systems, fire/life safety systems, and other building-related equipment.
- Maintain compliance with all safety procedures.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas.
Requirements
- Minimum four (4) years of technical experience in commercial building engineering with demonstrated expertise in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical equipment repair and maintenance.
- Valid state driver's license with clean driving record.
- Physical ability to lift up to 80 lbs. and climb ladders up to 30 ft. safely and regularly.
- Availability to work on-call duties and overtime as required.
- Strong knowledge of State, County, and City Ordinances, Codes, and Laws related to building operations.
- Commitment to maintaining full compliance with all applicable regulations.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- 58,240.00 – 83,200.00 USD per year
