About the Role

Partner with Specialty Operations leaders to solve complex business problems using data, analytics, and quantitative decision-making. This consultative role focuses on translating ambiguous business questions into analytical frameworks, generating actionable insights, and influencing strategic and operational decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders.
  • Combine statistical reasoning, business acumen, and structured problem-solving to identify operational improvement opportunities.
  • Generate hypotheses rapidly.
  • Conduct statistical analysis.
  • Perform experimentation.
  • Conduct forecasting.
  • Communicate clear recommendations that drive measurable business outcomes.
  • Prioritize opportunities and develop data-informed recommendations in partnership with business leaders.
  • Manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in analytics, decision science, management consulting, business analytics, data science, operations research, or a related quantitative field.
  • Demonstrated experience solving complex business problems using statistical analysis and data-driven decision making.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to structure ambiguous problems into actionable analytical approaches.
  • Experience conducting statistical analyses such as hypothesis testing, regression, forecasting, segmentation, and experimental design.
  • Proficiency in SQL.
  • Experience using Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling.
  • Ability to synthesize large datasets into concise, actionable insights for business and executive audiences.
  • Strong communication, storytelling, and presentation skills with experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Experience partnering directly with business leaders to prioritize opportunities and develop data-informed recommendations.
  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment.
  • Experience in management consulting or internal strategy and analytics organizations.
  • Experience supporting healthcare, pharmacy, specialty pharmacy, payer, or healthcare operations.
  • Knowledge of operational performance metrics, process optimization, workforce analytics, or service operations.
  • Experience designing and evaluating business experiments (A/B testing, pilot evaluations, quasi-experimental analyses).
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling techniques and machine learning concepts, with the ability to determine when these methods are appropriate for business problems.
  • Experience developing executive presentations and facilitating discussions with senior leadership.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
  • Exposure to AI-enabled decision support tools, generative AI, or intelligent analytics platforms is a plus, but not required.
