About the Role

KPMG Law LLP is seeking an Immigration Coordinator (NIV) to join their US Immigration Law group. This role supports the end-to-end processing of non-immigrant visa petitions and applications in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will work in a team, interact with clients, and demonstrate initiative, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high volume U.S. business immigration services within deadlines
  • Implement various NIV visa strategies to meet clients' business needs and mitigate immigration risks
  • Use technology and digital initiatives to enhance the client experience
  • Review work for quality, accuracy, and relevance
  • Prepare and compile supporting documents for application packages
  • Develop and maintain effective communication with Coordinators, lawyers, and client stakeholders
  • Ensure all client correspondence, documents, and data fields are recorded in internal databases
  • Assist with preparing reports
  • Respond to clients and/or vendors regarding invoicing
  • Collect invoices, annotate billing codes, and submit to Accounts Payable
  • Ensure timely payment of vendor invoices
  • Ensure timely billing of all work completed
  • Perform filing, photocopying, and mailing/courier tasks
  • Undertake other administrative responsibilities as required

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in U.S. Business Immigration
  • Comprehensive knowledge of U.S. Immigration law and the workflow of NIV files
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills within a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to locate and research information efficiently, use it effectively, and evaluate its quality
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to relate to people at all levels
  • Outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to multi-task, use initiative, and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
