About the Role

As a Customer Success Executive on our Strategic Partnerships team, you'll be the primary point of contact for large and complex consumer packaged goods companies on the SPS Revenue Recovery network. You will guide customers through onboarding, renewal, and help them derive value from the Revenue Recovery Service. This role requires an understanding of how large CPG suppliers operate within retail, including deductions, OTIF, settlement negotiations, and maintaining clean scorecards across multiple trading partners.

Responsibilities

  • Own the relationship with a portfolio of large, complex CPG accounts, acting as their advocate and advisor on retail compliance operations.
  • Guide customers through onboarding, product adoption, and renewal, ensuring they see measurable value.
  • Analyze customer deduction and compliance data to identify root causes and recommend prevention strategies.
  • Train customers on SPS Commerce products and retail compliance programs to build confidence and drive adoption.
  • Track account health and engagement, proactively addressing risks by coordinating with internal teams.
  • Relay customer feedback to SPS Commerce, connecting them with relevant teams to influence product development.
  • Stay current on retail and CPG industry developments and translate learnings into practical customer advice.
  • Contribute to the Customer Success strategy for account retention, expansion, and customer health.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or Supply Chain, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience working with major retailers (Walmart, Sam's Club, Target, Kroger, Amazon) or at a large CPG company, with direct exposure to deductions, chargebacks, or retail compliance programs.
  • Proven track record of managing complex customer relationships and navigating competing priorities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical and compliance topics clearly.
  • Comfort analyzing data to identify root causes and formulate recommendations.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize a portfolio of accounts, and escalate issues appropriately.
  • Fast learner, able to quickly master and teach new systems and products.
