About the Role

All Purpose Winery Workers at the Mogen David winery execute wine process orders, operate machinery, and perform sanitation and other tasks. Candidates must be able to perform a minimum of 4 essential functions and all other functions proficiently, working across various departments including bottling, warehouse, and cellar.

Responsibilities

  • Operate at least one Case Packer efficiently.
  • Operate at least one Filler efficiently.
  • Operate at least one Labeler efficiently.
  • Perform filler sanitation and wine delivery as required.
  • Operate the forklift/clamp-lift to deliver empty glass and put away finished product.
  • Operate the forklift/clamp-lift to pick, stage, and load finished product.
  • Operate the Crossflow filter efficiently.
  • Operate plate and frame filters efficiently.
  • Operate the vacuum drum filter efficiently.
  • Execute process orders for pre- and post-fermentation batching.
  • Execute process orders for finished wine blending for bottling.
  • Read tape measure accurately and record information legibly.
  • Work with minimal supervision in a team environment.
  • Work with chemicals safely.
  • Demonstrate excellent work ethic.
  • Work overtime hours as assigned when necessary.
  • Demonstrate and maintain excellent safety, work performance and attendance record.
  • Work any shift and overtime as required.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years or older at time of hire.
  • Must be able to pass the pre-employment background check and drug screen.
  • Able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds at varying frequencies.
  • Ability to perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, standing, and twisting in a loud environment.
  • Working environment is both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to related equipment and noise levels.
