About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Customer Service Associate to support daily warehouse and logistics operations. This role serves as the primary point of contact for customers, trucking companies, and internal warehouse teams, ensuring inbound shipments are processed accurately and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service via phone and email.
- Communicate with customers regarding inbound shipment damages, shortages, or discrepancies.
- Verify warehouse receiving documentation against packing lists and accurately enter data into the warehouse management system.
- Create product and shipment labels as needed.
- Maintain and update inbound appointment schedules.
- Coordinate inbound deliveries and appointments with trucking companies.
- Collaborate with warehouse management and receiving teams to address delayed or late inbound shipments.
- Monitor shipment status and ensure timely communication between departments.
- Assist with other administrative and operational duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 3+ years of customer service experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Experience working within a logistics, transportation, warehousing, or supply chain environment.
- Strong organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
