About the Role
As a Workplace Advice Consultant, you will provide holistic financial planning, education, and guidance to participants of Stock Plan Services (“SPS”) and Schwab Retirement Plan Services (“RPS”) corporate relationship(s) on a team-basis. You will act as the “face of Schwab” for corporate clients, supporting participants with their wealth management needs, answering questions, and providing guidance. This role emphasizes high-touch service through relationship building, supported by a team of dedicated professionals for complex financial needs.
Responsibilities
- Introduce plan participants to Schwab’s Retail and Workplace offerings through a planning-led approach.
- Provide holistic financial planning, education, and guidance to participants.
- Act as the “face of Schwab” for corporate clients.
- Support participants by addressing a wide spectrum of wealth management needs.
- Answer in-the-moment questions and provide point-in-time guidance.
- Build relationships to provide high-touch service.
- Leverage a team of Schwab specialists, advice guidelines, market knowledge, and ability to inspire action to help clients achieve goals.
Requirements
- A valid and active Series 7 license is required.
- A valid and active Series 66 (63/65) license required (license(s) may be obtained under a condition of employment).
- Self-starter with securities license.
- Comfortable with a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Passion for serving clients.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn and explain complicated subjects to various clients.
- Experience, comfort, and confidence presenting 1:1 or virtually.
- A basic understanding of wealth management issues including investment planning, insurance planning, retirement planning, equity compensation, deferred compensation, education and family wealth planning, and estate planning.
- A solid understanding of corporate sponsor and consultant relationships.
