About the Role

As part of the Finance team, you will support our closing and reporting processes, working closely with Accounting and Finance. You will ensure reliable figures, monitor data quality, and provide management with the basis for informed decisions.

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in monthly, quarterly, and annual closings, working hand-in-hand with Accounting and Finance.
  • Ensure reliable figures, secure data quality, and reconcile financially relevant key figures and reports.
  • Book business transactions independently and assist with accounts payable invoices, travel expense reports, and employee expenses.
  • Support management with well-founded ad-hoc analyses that provide real decision-making foundations.

Requirements

  • First professional experience in Finance or Accounting (e.g., through working student roles or internships) and initial practical experience in processing accounts payable invoices.
  • Structured, analytical, and independent work style, demonstrating a high affinity for numbers, accuracy, and reliability.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting and ability to book business transactions independently, including understanding of chart of accounts (SKR04), booking logic (debit/credit), VAT and input tax regulations, and financial and reporting processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Business Central.
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English language skills.
