About the Role
Medtronic is seeking a Global Marketing Director for the CathWorks FFRangio™ system to lead its global expansion and drive the digital transformation of the cath lab. This high-visibility role involves developing innovative products and marketing strategies to provide meaningful clinical, technical, and economic benefits to patients treated by interventional cardiologists. Responsibilities
- Lead the development of short and long-term strategic marketing plans integrating commercial strategy, product launches, product promotion, internal training, evidence strategy, and medical education.
- Monitor competitive landscape, digital trends, and emerging technologies.
- Work closely with R&D and digital technology teams to provide market and customer needs research and influence product roadmap and usability.
- Partner with clinical, health economics, and regulatory teams to support claims, evidence and reimbursement plan development.
- Develop differentiated value propositions that connect digital capabilities to clinical, economic, and workflow outcomes.
- Develop deep understanding of customer needs, digital maturity, and clinical workflows.
- Translate technical features (software, AI, analytics, connectivity) into compelling customer benefits.
- Develop global pricing and business strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Partner closely with regional marketing peers to drive geography expansion and commercial performance, account targeting and segmentation, communications, training, pricing, forecasting and evidence dissemination globally.
- Work individually and with the team in recommending action, scheduling and planning projects, modeling revenue opportunity and overall project value.
- Lead team of high performing product managers to achieve ambitious goals that meet business objectives and ensure successful response from customers.
- Foster a culture of excellence by recruiting, coaching, and developing top talent, creating a team that is a destination for high performers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing or market development work (7 years of managerial experience) or advanced degree with a minimum of 8 years relevant experience, minimum 7 years of managerial experience).
- Deep experience and understanding of the AI technology landscape; commercial expertise in developing and deploying innovative solutions, including AI supported applications, within the medical device industry.
- Historical experience identifying and rolling out software and capital equipment business models.
- Proven ability to translate complex technology into simple, compelling narratives.
- Strong project management and cross-functional leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to deliver results in a matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills.
- Experience leading a high performing team.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
- For Baccalaureate degrees earned outside of the United States, a degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.
