About the Role
Lead strategic internal communications campaigns that inform and inspire over 6,500 people and partners across Australia. You'll work at the intersection of people, culture, and corporate strategy, partnering with senior leaders and guiding a high-performing team to drive meaningful connections across the firm.
Responsibilities
- Lead the strategic development and implementation of communications activity, reactive corporate communications and issues management, with a focus on our People & Culture portfolio and Enabling Functions.
- Work with Corporate Affairs leaders to develop strategies and implement campaigns that are delivered on time, to budget and achieve impactful and measurable results.
- Use excellent communication and stakeholder skills and experience influencing senior leaders to drive alignment across diverse teams and act as a trusted advisor on issues to internal stakeholders including Management Leadership Team and the Governance Board.
- Lead the development and implementation of measures that assess the impact of communications output and gather feedback for future improvement, and review corporate communication material produced by your team.
- Leverage existing leadership experience having led or coached high-performing teams in corporate communications.
Requirements
- Proven experience in corporate communications or internal communications within a dynamic, high-profile organisation.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to lead complex work and deliver quality outcomes.
- Strong project management skills with a results-oriented approach.
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships quickly and influence senior stakeholders effectively.
- Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Agility and willingness to lean into new challenges and shifting priorities.
- A collaborative mindset with a genuine appreciation for constructive challenge and knowledge-sharing.
- Adaptability and a willingness to support colleagues across functions — ready to 'jump in' where needed.
- Natural curiosity and an openness to continuous learning and improvement.
