About the Role

The Senior Vice President, Product & Strategy is a key executive leader responsible for defining and executing the strategic vision, product portfolio strategy, commercialization, and lifecycle management of the company's software solutions. This leader will oversee the Product Management organization and ensure the delivery of innovative SaaS and on-premises products that create measurable customer value and drive sustainable business growth. Reporting to the executive leadership team, the SVP, Product & Strategy serves as the strategic link between Product Management, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations. This executive will align customer needs, market opportunities, technology investments, and business priorities to maximize portfolio performance and accelerate growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the enterprise product vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap across a diverse portfolio of software products.
  • Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing Product Management organization, including Directors, Senior Product Managers, and Product Managers.
  • Establish portfolio investment priorities that balance customer needs, market opportunities, innovation, technical modernization, and financial objectives.
  • Drive portfolio performance by influencing revenue growth, Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), customer retention, product adoption, profitability, and market expansion.
  • Partner closely with Engineering leadership to prioritize product investments, roadmap execution, platform modernization, and technology strategy.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations to ensure alignment between product strategy, commercialization, pricing, packaging, and go-to-market execution.
  • Build and lead comprehensive Voice of Customer (VoC) programs leveraging customer research, advisory boards, competitive intelligence, market analysis, and customer journey insights.
  • Champion modern Product Management practices, governance, metrics, AI-enabled workflows, and continuous improvement across the organization.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, market trends, and competitive dynamics to identify new product opportunities and strategic growth initiatives.
  • Represent product strategy and portfolio direction to executive leadership, customers, strategic partners, and industry stakeholders.
  • Establish and monitor key product performance indicators to ensure successful execution and achievement of strategic business objectives.

Requirements

  • 15+ years of progressive Product Management experience, including executive leadership within enterprise software organizations.
  • Proven experience leading Product Management organizations of 20+ professionals, including multiple layers of leadership.
  • Experience managing portfolios that include both SaaS and on-premises enterprise software solutions.
  • Experience within media technology, broadcast, communications, or adjacent enterprise software markets.
  • Experience leading product modernization, cloud transformation, or AI-driven product initiatives.
  • MBA or equivalent executive leadership experience.
  • Demonstrated success building, transforming, or scaling Product Management organizations.
  • Strong track record developing and executing enterprise product strategies that drive commercial growth and customer success.
  • Experience managing or significantly influencing SaaS subscription businesses, recurring revenue, and software portfolio performance.
  • Proven ability to align Product, Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, and Operations around shared business objectives.
  • Experience developing pricing, packaging, and commercialization strategies for enterprise software products.
  • Deep customer-centric mindset with experience leading Voice of Customer programs and market research initiatives.
  • Technical fluency to effectively partner with Engineering leadership on roadmap planning, prioritization, architecture discussions, and delivery planning.
  • Experience leveraging modern Product Management tools such as Aha!, Jira, Figma, Productboard, or similar platforms, including AI-enabled product management capabilities.
  • Exceptional executive communication, organizational, strategic thinking, and leadership skills.
