About the Role
Treliant is seeking Murex Data Management Business Analysts for a hybrid, long-term engagement with an investment banking client in the NYC metro area. This role involves supporting a multi-person team on critical data management tasks.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business analysis and quality assurance to clarify business requirements, business logic, and field definitions.
- Ensure data integrity, perform automated reconciliation validation, and validate data sources.
- Develop process flows and document business requirements and functional specifications.
- Run SQL queries to select and compare datasets for analysis.
- Collaborate with technology teams to define data integrity checks and ensure accurate implementation.
- Support business stakeholders with use case confirmation, testing, and migration plans, as well as UAT and system testing.
- Assist in data migration to Snowflake, working closely with both business and tech teams to remediate issues.
Requirements
- Degree (Masters would be an advantage).
- 2+ years experience in a similar role for an investment bank / financial institution.
- Strong Business Analyst skillset.
- Capital Markets product knowledge, such as FI, EQ, Comm, FX.
- Murex experience and knowledge.
- Technical mindset, with experience in any of the following - SQL, Python, NoSQL databases, Java, Big Data tools.
- Excellent communication skills across all levels of seniority.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with good relationship building and engagement skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Must be able to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
