About the Role
Sinatra and Co. is seeking a Floating Maintenance Technician to join their team. The role involves upholding company values, striving for professional growth, and contributing to a positive team environment.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoots and performs electrical, drywall, painting, plumbing, and appliance repairs to complete work orders.
- Completes resident-requested service requests within 24-48 hours.
- Manages materials within budgetary constraints.
- Ensures grounds are presentable, picks up trash, reports hazards, and informs the office of lease violations.
- Elevates property curb appeal through attention to interior and exterior details.
- Identifies and acts on routine replacement needs.
- Assists with make-ready unit turns and monitors move-in/move-out dates.
- Contributes to housekeeping efforts in common areas and vacant units.
- Provides excellent customer service during work order completion and other duties.
- Documents property operations thoroughly and timely in logs or software.
- Maintains working knowledge of Fair Housing laws.
- Ensures trash receptacles are free of debris and hazards.
- Works a flexible schedule, including weekends and on-call hours for emergency services.
- Completes assigned training and virtual education.
- Performs additional tasks assigned by management.
- Lifts heavy equipment and items such as appliances and discarded furniture.
- Travels to regional properties to assist as needed.

- Is proactive and thinks outside of the box for repair challenges, budget constraints, and operations.
- Has applicable certifications.
- Has relevant experience and manual labor skills necessary for job functions.
- Ability to work exposed to various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment or discarded items as needed on property.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
