About the Role

Fluidstack is building civilization-scale infrastructure for AI, delivering gigawatts of compute faster than anyone else. We are seeking individuals who care deeply about this mission and want to contribute to expanding human freedom through AI.

Responsibilities

• Operate building management and controls systems (BMS, SCADA, EPMS) for gigawatt-scale data centers.
• Manage real-time load and thermal control across sites undergoing construction.
• Develop operating procedures, alarm response runbooks, and control sequences.
• Diagnose and resolve controls faults on live data center floors.
• Tune control sequences and setpoints to meet PUE and reliability targets.
• Identify and address drifting sensors or incorrect setpoints before they cause outages.

Requirements

• Experience operating controls for live mission-critical facilities (data center, industrial, or power).
• Proficiency in BMS, SCADA, and EPMS platforms for diagnosing control issues.
• Experience writing operating procedures and alarm response runbooks.
• Proven ability to resolve real controls faults under pressure on live floors.
• Skill in tuning control sequences and setpoints, understanding tradeoffs.
• Ability to detect and correct issues like drifting sensors or wrong setpoints.
