About the Role

Vice President, Asset Backed Securities Structuring will develop and utilize existing models to structure term ABS transactions across all asset classes, interact with rating agencies, tie-out structures with accountants, review transaction documents, and support the deal marketing process. This role also provides analytical support, maintains internal modeling tools, and assists in asset valuations.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and utilize existing models to structure term ABS transactions across all asset classes.
  • Interact with rating agencies to obtain ratings for transactions.
  • Tie-out structures with accountants.
  • Review and provide feedback on the transaction documents.
  • Support the deal marketing process by discussing and educating salesforce.
  • Provide analytical support and structural proposals for pitch books/presentations/RFPs.
  • Maintain and enhance internal modeling tools.
  • Assist in asset valuations and trade analyses for securitization purposes and other business opportunities.
  • Proactively identify operational risks/control deficiencies in the business.
  • Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to your business activities.
  • Escalate operational risk loss events, control deficiencies, and risks to line manager and relevant risk/control functions promptly.

Requirements

  • 4 plus years of Asset Backed Securities or related experience.
  • Familiarity with both Term and Conduit ABS products including Non-Traditional Asset Classes.
  • Bachelor’s degree with history of strong academic performance.
  • Series 7, 63 & 79 licenses.
  • Previous transaction execution experience across various asset classes.
  • Self-starter that functions well in fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented approach to issues and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong programming, excel spreadsheet and some PowerPoint skills.
  • Fluency in ABS documents and related criteria.
  • Fluency in excel with VBA code, Intex and CAS.
