About the Role
Whisper Woods of Smithtown is seeking compassionate CNA/HHAs to join their resident care team, focusing on building meaningful connections and serving older adults.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Document care provided and report changes in resident health or behavior to appropriate staff.
- Engage residents in meaningful activities and provide emotional support.
- Utilize customer service skills to ensure residents receive exceptional and meaningful care.
- Perform other duties as needed.
Requirements
- Valid CNA/HHA license required.
- Prior experience in a skilled nursing or assisted living community is preferred but not required.
- Previous experience working with people with dementia is desired.
