About the Role

This role involves packaging life-saving medicines on a high-speed computerized assembly line, conducting visual inspections, and ensuring product quality while adhering to strict operating procedures in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Package life-saving medicines on a high-speed computerized assembly line.
• Conduct visual inspection of products and move them on and off the assembly line.
• Strictly follow standard operating procedures and documentation requirements.
• Identify and report problems.
• Become qualified as an inspector.
• Make minor adjustments and assist with equipment changeover and set-up.
• Visually inspect vials and labels.
• Assure that the packaged product meets all specifications.
• Perform visual inspection of labeled vials.
• Comply with all SOP's and cGMP's.
• Continue to train and train other crew members.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assure a safe working environment and wear clean room safety equipment/apparel.
• Work overtime as needed.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Must be able to perform repetitive work.
• Must be able to focus on details for periods of time (e.g., visual inspection, labeling).
• Must be able to use pallet jacks to pull/push pallets of product.
• Must be able to pass Vision 5 visual acuity testing administered by an occupational health administrator, pre-employment and annually thereafter.
• Previous machine operator experience or mechanical aptitude is preferred, particularly HMI experience.
• Must be able to effectively speak, read, write, and understand English.
