About the Role

As a Consultant, Application Packaging, you will be the primary contact for packaging requests and will oversee the queue for Endpoint and Citrix applications. You’ll provide work effort estimates, validate and schedule new requests, and collaborate with project teams to ensure requirements are met. You’ll coordinate the retirement and clean-up of application packages, enforce policies and procedures, and troubleshoot packaging issues as they arise. You’ll attend project meetings, guide high-priority requests, and contribute to process improvements and automation.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage all application packaging requests, ensuring timely scheduling and completion.
  • Prepare, customize, and test software packages to meet organizational and project requirements.
  • Work closely with business partners, project teams, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver packages.
  • Guide the deployment and retirement/clean-up of application packages across SCCM, ServiceNow, endpoints, and Citrix workspace.
  • Uphold security, compliance, and operational standards throughout the packaging process.
  • Identify opportunities to optimize processes and implement automation within the packaging environment.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of experience in Windows Installer (MSI packaging format), App-V, VMware ThinApp, MSIX, Citrix XenApp for application virtualization, PowerShell, SCCM, and Windows 11.
  • Strong knowledge of business dynamics, enabling you to analyze and protect test environment integrity, mitigate risks, and recommend solutions for complex initiatives.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills, enabling you to effectively manage multiple requests and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Embrace and advocate for change.
  • Continuously evolve your thinking and the way you work in order to deliver your best.
  • Motivated by collective success and teamwork.
  • Values matter to you; bring your real self to work and live the values - trust, teamwork, and accountability.
  • Legally eligible to work at the specified location(s) and, where applicable, must have a valid work or study permit.
  • May be asked to complete an attribute-based assessment and other skills tests (such as simulation, coding, French proficiency).
