About the Role

The Technical Project Manager will support ALD New Product Transitions, with potential to flex into supporting New Product Transitions, CIP (Continuous Improvement Projects), and Refurbished Systems. This role involves working in a team environment to develop high-level POR, including Assemble to Order (ATO) manufacturing strategy, and managing manufacturing builds from lab chambers through pilot line and customer shipments. The role ensures product progression by monitoring build and test documentation, supplier quality, and field quality, ultimately transitioning new products to volume production once performance goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare project plans and coordinate the attainment of project deliverables from planning to implementation.
  • Maintain a matrix for process improvements.
  • Drive project deliverables and task details using reports, tracking charts, and checklists.
  • Align internal resources to achieve on-time and within-budget project performance objectives.
  • Monitor and report on project cost performance.
  • Participate in intra-business unit design teams to complete projects.
  • Contribute to the team's technical development in pursuit of project goals.
  • Research causes of project obstacles and assist in implementing solutions.
  • Develop high-level POR, including ATO manufacturing strategy, module build and test locations.
  • Manage manufacturing builds from lab chambers and ELS builds through the ALD pilot line.
  • Manage programs and builds for DTOR shipments to customers.
  • Ensure product progression with build and test documentation, supplier quality, and field quality.
  • Transition new products to volume production once performance goals for capacity, cycle time, and quality are met.
