About the Role
Join a fast-growing AI data analytics startup building an agentic data lakehouse. As a Senior Software Engineer, Platform, you will help shape the data foundation for AI-driven analytics at scale. This is a high-impact, zero-to-one opportunity on a small, senior team tackling challenging distributed systems and data engineering problems.
Responsibilities
- Build the agentic semantic layer that provides AI agents with context and guardrails for querying enterprise data.
- Design and implement distributed orchestration systems for agents interacting with the external world.
- Architect AI-centric ETL pipelines for data lakehouses to make large-scale analytics accessible.
- Contribute across infrastructure, backend services, and frontend as needed within a lean, cross-functional team.
Requirements
- 4+ years of practical experience as a backend or platform engineer building scalable distributed systems.
- Experience at early-stage startups or building products from zero to one.
- Solid CS fundamentals and a track record of owning complex systems end-to-end.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or comparable practical experience.
