About the Role

HYPERMUSE Studio is seeking a Creative Project Manager to be the operational engine and management pillar driving the studio from initial client contact to final delivery. This role involves managing internal initiatives, client projects, and studio revenue growth through pitching and prospecting, while overseeing AI image and video productions.

Responsibilities

• Lead business development efforts, including prospecting, identifying new client opportunities, building relationships, and converting initial conversations into well-defined projects.
• Manage internal studio projects and intellectual property with the same structure and rigor as client mandates.
• Oversee end-to-end delivery of AI image and video projects, managing multiple clients and deadlines concurrently.
• Serve as the studio's client-facing representative, managing production follow-ups, expectations, next steps, and translating feedback into clear, actionable directives.
• Support brief intake and creative alignment by asking pertinent questions, challenging assumptions, and refining scope into an executable plan.
• Establish project timelines, milestones, review cycles, approval stages, version management, and a definition of done for each deliverable.
• Facilitate working sessions with Creative and Production teams to maintain output, remove blockers, and sustain momentum during rapid iterations.
• Protect creative intent while ensuring efficient production, rapid team output, and uncompromising quality, brand integrity, and taste.
• Maintain clarity on what is produced, delivered, and approved by the client, ensuring transparency without complicating the process.
• Identify bottlenecks, refine workflows, and implement improved processes as volume increases.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in a creative agency, VFX studio, film production environment, 3D animation studio, or social-first marketing agency.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects simultaneously with significant client interaction, tight deadlines, and multiple stakeholders.
• Strong production instincts, understanding creative work fabrication and progression without team burnout.
• Excellent client presence and commercial acumen, comfortable leading calls, managing pressure, building relationships, and driving revenue through pitching and prospecting.
• High organizational skills and systems thinking to establish structure that supports creativity.
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments with constantly evolving tools and workflows.
• Sufficient creative sensitivity to contribute to risk identification, ask key questions, and help shape direction.
• Experience building scalable workflows in a growing studio or start-up environment.
• Familiarity with usage rights and licensing issues in content production (a plus in an AI context).
• Experience with AI-powered or rapid-iteration creative pipelines (or strong curiosity and exposure to AI tools and projects) is a significant asset.
