About the Role

As an Accounting Analyst, you will be responsible for maintaining and reconciling the Accounts Receivable (AR) ledger and preparing monthly and quarterly reconciliation reports. You will monitor and reconcile over-age accounts and manage cash account balances. Additionally, you will oversee cheque management, ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies, and train and mentor the offshore team. You will also assist or lead AR projects, prepare and analyze AR PBCs for audit purposes, and address any business inquiries or escalations.

Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile AR ledger.
Prepare monthly and quarterly reconciliation reports.
Monitor and reconcile all over-age accounts and prepare monthly bad debt reports.
Manage cash on account balances and discuss with business stakeholders.
Oversee cheque management.
Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
Train and mentor the offshore team.
Assist or lead AR projects.
Prepare and analyze AR PBCs for audit purposes.
Address adhoc inquiries and escalations from business needs.

Requirements

Strong experience with account and general ledger reconciliations.
Solid understanding of accounting principles.
Ability to investigate and resolve accounting-related queries.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Confidence working directly with key stakeholders, including the finance team.
Experience with Accounts Receivable and Accounting.
Proficiency in SAP ERP and SAP-FI module.
Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, H&V lookup, and formulas.
Preferred professional experience in accounts receivable.
Hands-on experience developing technical solutions for large multinational corporations or fast-growing startups.
Proven ability to communicate and partner with both technical and non-technical teams to influence strategy.
