About the Role
The Client Onboard Assoc Analyst is a developing professional role focused on identifying policy and applying specialty knowledge in monitoring and assessing processes and data. This role integrates disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with a basic understanding of related industry practices, contributing to team objectives and developing working knowledge of industry practices and standards. The impact of the job holder is restricted to their own team.
Responsibilities
- Manage account opening, account maintenance, and internal partner support with extensive client interface.
- Ensure a smooth process for all aspects of client onboarding.
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to minimize time to market and provide process transparency.
- Identify opportunities to centralize and optimize processes for improved client satisfaction and group performance.
- Support and monitor the timely and accurate execution of client and internal requests.
- Populate account opening, market opening, and tax documentation, ensuring collection, verification, storage, and client status updates.
- Perform client documentation searches and compile client profiles.
- Interact with clients regarding the latest status and current onboarding actions.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure regulatory reviews on all clients are performed.
- Ensure all client review materials are in place and completed.
- Provide subject matter expertise on account opening, tax, and local market documentation to Citi staff and external clients.
- Participate in initiatives to improve the client and account management process.
- Maintain data on end-to-end processes for tracking turnaround times.
- Assess risk when making business decisions, considering the firm's reputation, safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
Requirements
- Previous client-facing, middle office, or operations financial services experience.
- Some knowledge of capital market products.
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving abilities.
- Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organization skills with high attention to detail.
