About the Role
Provide loan processing support for the Agency lending team, working with Underwriting Analysts, Underwriters, and Freddie Mac/Fannie Mae and Originations teams on loan application setup and submission.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage meetings, property site visits, due diligence activities, and key transaction milestones.
- Assist in preparation, review, and submission of loan processing documentation, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Serve as a primary point of contact among internal teams, Agency representatives, borrowers, and third-party vendors.
- Assess documentation requirements and ensure all components are collected, reviewed, and submitted within deadlines.
- Manage outstanding items lists and due diligence tracking, proactively communicating with stakeholders.
- Maintain, validate, and reconcile information within agency, company, and loan origination systems.
- Partner with Underwriters and Originators to ensure complete submissions and preparation for approval processes.
- Coordinate the ordering, monitoring, and distribution of third-party reports.
- Monitor changes to program requirements and provide recommendations for process enhancements.
- Conduct comprehensive reviews of loan files to confirm completeness and identify potential submission concerns.
- Participate in special projects, process improvement initiatives, and training efforts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years of relevant multifamily real estate finance or loan processing experience preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Demonstrated ability to independently manage multiple complex transactions simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, taking ownership of processes.

Skills
- Strong knowledge of Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, affordable housing, and/or conventional multifamily lending programs, including documentation, underwriting, and closing requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), Adobe Acrobat, and loan origination or underwriting systems.
