About the Role
Major Food Group is hiring Lounge Servers to join our team at Dirty French, an energetic bistro located in the Ludlow Hotel on Manhattan’s storied Lower East Side. Dirty French is acclaimed for its timeless French dishes, modern techniques, and bold flavors, holding two stars from the New York Times.
Responsibilities
- Serve guests during their visit, assist in beverage service preparation, and provide outstanding service.
- Greet and welcome guests, promptly serve food and beverages, and process orders accurately in the POS system.
- Ensure guests have an outstanding experience and address any complaints promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of tables, countertops, and work areas.
- Perform setup and breakdown of various stations.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of experience in high volume and fine dining restaurants.
- Team-oriented with a positive attitude.
- Strong communication skills.
- Possesses and exhibits the drive to provide exceptional service.
- Able to stand/walk for 8 hours, bend, push, pull, and lift 30 lbs.
- Proficient in computer skills including POS systems, Word, and Excel.
