About the Role
As a Test Engineer, your primary mission is to own product acceptance and end-of-line (EOL) test systems as we transition from development into scaled production. This role is responsible for building and maintaining reliable, repeatable test processes that ensure every unit shipped meets performance and quality expectations. You will work closely with manufacturing, quality, and engineering to improve yield, resolve failures, and enable increasing production rates. This is a hands-on role. You will be expected to both design systems and step in to support execution when needed.
Responsibilities
- Own development and maintenance of product acceptance and EOL test systems
- Design and implement test processes that are robust, repeatable, and scalable
- Drive improvements in test throughput to support increasing production rates
- Analyze test data to identify yield issues, failure trends, and opportunities for improvement
- Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions
- Design fixtures, instrumentation, and automation to improve consistency and reduce manual effort
- Partner with engineering to improve testability and manufacturability
- Work closely with manufacturing and quality teams to resolve issues and maintain production flow
- Develop and maintain test procedures, documentation, and work instructions
- Continuously improve test systems to increase reliability, uptime, and scalability
