About the Role

The Staff Cyber Security Engineer is a senior individual contributor who will provide technical leadership in the design and advancement of cyber security solutions across complex environments. This role will lead cross-team security initiatives, influence architectural decisions, and address elevated security risks through deep technical expertise and collaboration. Demonstrated expertise in AI Detection & Response (AIDR) and AI Security Posture Management (AISPM). Leads the design and implementation of security strategies for AI and machine learning ecosystems, including threat detection, model security, adversarial attack mitigation, and risk management. Proven ability to build scalable security programs that protect AI applications, data pipelines, and cloud environments while ensuring regulatory compliance and operational resilience.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement resilient security controls across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments; address complex threat scenarios and incorporate emerging cybersecurity and technology trends.
  • Lead security initiatives across multiple teams; provide technical direction, guidance, and mentorship to engineers and security practitioners.
  • Leads investigation and response to complex security incidents; drive root cause analysis and long‑term risk remediation.
  • Contribute to development and refinement of security standards, patterns, and controls aligned with risk and business objectives.
  • Partner with engineering, infrastructure, and platform teams to embed security into system design and delivery.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering; or related field of study or equivalent, relevant work experience
  • 8+ years of experience working in cybersecurity, security operations, IAM, PAM, cyber defense, or related technical roles.
  • Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, and maintaining security controls across infrastructure, cloud, and application environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex technical work, operate independently, and influence security outcomes across multiple teams.
