About the Role

Live Nation Concerts is seeking a qualified Ticketing Manager to manage ticket operations for its promoted shows in third-party venues. This detail-oriented position requires excellent organizational skills, strong problem-solving skills, multi-tasking skills, and an ability to work efficiently, accurately, and effectively under pressure.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary ticketing contact and operational lead for assigned Live Nation-promoted events in third-party venues throughout the region.
  • Manage the end-to-end ticketing process for assigned events, ensuring accurate event setup, inventory management, compliance, and successful event execution.
  • Prepare and distribute ticketing directives, event build instructions, and operational communications to venue box offices and key stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with Talent Buyers, venue personnel, tour representatives, and internal departments regarding event programming, reporting requirements, ticket holds, inventory management, and event-specific ticketing needs.
  • Support revenue optimization efforts through ticket scaling, inventory management, pricing execution, and ongoing sales performance monitoring in partnership with booking and venue teams.
  • Monitor ticket sales trends and inventory levels throughout the event lifecycle, proactively recommending inventory adjustments and hold releases when appropriate.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Production, Talent, Finance, artist management, and label representatives to facilitate event setup, ticket holds, order processing, and timely ticket releases.
  • Maintain accurate box office accounting records, operational documentation, and event archives in accordance with company standards.
  • Manage internal ticket request fulfillment processes for Live Nation promoted events within the assigned region.
  • Coordinate and execute ticketing operations for third-party promoted events where Live Nation provides box office services, including event setup, staffing coordination, and onsite support.
  • Provide event-day ticketing support and serve as a key operational resource for venue box office personnel, tour representatives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with venue operators, Ticketmaster representatives, promoters, artist teams, and internal business partners to ensure seamless ticketing operations.
  • Supervise and support Ticketing Coordinators and part-time staff, providing guidance, training, and day-to-day operational leadership.
  • Assist with onboarding, coaching, and professional development efforts to strengthen team performance and technical expertise.
  • Ensure compliance with Live Nation ticketing policies, procedures, operational standards, and reporting requirements.
  • Identify operational challenges and escalate issues appropriately while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Attend departmental meetings, event planning sessions, and training opportunities as required.
  • Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in ticketing operations, box office management, venue operations, or live entertainment event management.
  • Experience creating ticket scaling maps and working with venue seating configurations, inventory management strategies, and CAD-generated ISMs.
  • Experience leading event staff or small teams, including scheduling, payroll administration, training, and operational oversight.
  • Experience supporting event day operations, including venue advancement, guest list management, stakeholder coordination, box office oversight, and issue resolution.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a demonstrated ability to build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated professional with a demonstrated ability to take ownership of projects and successfully execute operational responsibilities.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure while meeting critical deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.
  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays based on business and event requirements, both onsite and remotely.

Skills

  • Knowledge of Ticketmaster platforms, including HOST, EMT, TM1, event builds, inventory management, and ticketing operations.
  • Familiarity with ticketing operations in open and third-party venue environments.
  • Working knowledge of additional ticketing platforms, including AXS, SeatGeek, and other industry-standard ticketing systems.
  • Familiarity working cross-functionally with booking, marketing, production, sponsorship, artist relations, venue operations, and finance teams.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and related business applications.
  • Strong understanding of ticketing operations, inventory management, event setup, and customer service principles.
