About the Role
Regal Cinemas at Colonie Center is seeking part-time cast members passionate about movies to deliver exceptional guest service, cleanliness, and an engaging movie-going experience. Responsibilities
- Provide guest service by selling tickets, concessions, and working as an usher.
- Operate POS systems, including handling cash, credit cards, and gift cards accurately.
- Upsell and suggestively sell premium viewing experiences and concessions.
- Promote the Regal Crown Club program.
- Ensure tickets are sold in accordance with the MPAA rating system and company policy.
- Respond to guest inquiries in a manner consistent with the company's guest service philosophy.
- Operate, prepare, and clean concession equipment.
- Comply with all local, state, and federal food safety laws.
- Abide by all federal and state laws regarding breaks and meal periods.
- Ensure required alcohol certification and training are current, if applicable.
- Tear tickets, collect stubs, and direct patrons to auditoriums.
- Inspect backpacks and packages when applicable.
- Manage crowd control and assist guests in finding seats.
- Enforce the MPAA rating system.
- Conduct in-theater inspections to monitor quality and safety.
- Report any problems or unusual situations to management.
- Perform in-auditorium concession auxiliary sales as directed.
- Clean auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas.
- Monitor the cleanliness and operation of theater vending equipment.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain regular and consistent attendance.
- Handle emergency situations when called upon.
- Perform general cleaning duties.
- Comply with the company dress code.
Requirements
- Must be available to work weekends.
- Weekday opening and/or closing availability is preferred.
- Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress towards completion required.
- If selling alcohol, must complete legally required state or local training and obtain the required certificate.
- Must complete Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University, if applicable.
- Possess good public speaking skills.
- Listen effectively and respond clearly and directly.
- Perform calculations with speed and accuracy.
- Identify and correct errors.
- Identify problems, gather relevant data, and note possible causes.
- Evaluate relevant information, recognize alternatives, and reach conclusions based on evidence.

- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
- May occasionally be required to lift up to 60 pounds.
- Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
