About the Role

As the Specialist - Technical Representative, you will brainstorm, plan, and execute regional product education and experiential activations to deliver consistent retail support and build local brand affinity. You will serve as the go-to product expert for store staff within your territory, collaborating closely with local Sales Representatives and the Marketing team to ensure premium brand representation.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct high-impact product knowledge clinics to elevate retail staff expertise.
  • Support retail partner activations through product demos, community test-runs, and brand trial experiences.
  • Plan and schedule territory store visits for consistent communication and support with retail store managers.
  • Coordinate local event logistics for regional product launch activities.
  • Execute brand presence at local corporate health expos, fitness trade shows, and community events.
  • Identify and cultivate relationships with local running clubs and fitness communities.
  • Implement and audit in-store visual merchandising standards.
  • Monitor territory stock levels and communicate inventory gaps to facilitate orders.
  • Gather localized store-level feedback, competitor observations, and staff insights.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in a technical representative, sales representative, or retail sales role for an outdoor or run specialty retail brand.
  • Foundational understanding of, or strong aptitude to learn, the technical aspects of human physiology and product engineering within the running space.
  • Comfortable and engaging when presenting educational information to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to track personal travel schedules, manage account visit expenses, and utilize basic office productivity tools.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% across the designated territory.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license.
  • Willingness to undergo a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check.
