About the Role
Responsible for all phlebotomy and assisting with the performance of some of the Clinical Laboratory procedures under the supervision of a medical technologist. This person will maintain patient results records, laboratory documents, log sheets, make daily charges, as well as chart results.

Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- Current BLS certification from an approved vendor required.
- ASCP phlebotomy certification preferred.
- Documented training in all areas of the clinical laboratory preferred.
- Experience in a clinical laboratory, hospital, or critical care setting for a minimum of one (1) year preferred.
- Ability to work with Laboratory instrumentation with minimal supervision preferred.
- Ability to project a professional image.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards and compliance requirements.
- Strong organizational, prioritizing and analytical skills.
- Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.
- Working knowledge of computer and software applications used in job functions.
- Freedom from illegal use of and effects of use of drugs and alcohol in the workplace.
