About the Role

Cartesia is hiring for Workplace Operations to own internal events, provide light administrative support to founders, and lead the search for and buildout of new office spaces globally. This is a high-trust, high-agency role focused on making Cartesia a great place to work and ensuring smooth daily operations.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute team events end-to-end.
  • Handle administrative work for founders, including calendar and travel.
  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including supplies and vendors.
  • Track vendor spend, negotiate contracts, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Prepare new hires' workstations, equipment, and access for their first day.
  • Lead site selection, lease negotiation, design/buildout, and move logistics for new offices.
  • Oversee space, local vendors, and the employee experience in new international hubs.

Requirements

  • 2–5 years of office management, workplace coordination, recruiting coordination, or executive/administrative support experience at a fast-moving company, ideally in tech or a startup.
  • Experience in vendor and facilities management, including negotiation and accountability.
  • Comfortable with budget management, tracking spend, and identifying overruns.
  • Experience providing light administrative/executive support with discretion and responsiveness.
  • Ability to operate and build processes in ambiguous environments.
  • A genuine desire to improve spaces and experiences, with attention to detail.
  • Enthusiasm for people and culture, not just logistics.
