About the Role

The Operations Director will be responsible for directing and implementing company policy to ensure compliance with contract responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage costs and revenue to meet company financial goals, including expanding business within Strategic Accounts/Clients, negotiating increases with Customers, reducing operating costs, and/or changes in schedules or processes.
  • Present insights to clients and stakeholders regarding the program and future goals.
  • Direct operations to fulfill contractual responsibilities and profitability, ensuring complete customer satisfaction.
  • Provide continuous training and development for subordinate managers.
  • Maintain a safe work environment through comprehensive safety, recognition, and training programs.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., FLSA, OSHA, ADA).
  • Lead teams for Special Projects and Events for the client.
  • Provide innovations and solutions for program success and growth.
  • Manage and retain qualified staff, ensuring they are trained, satisfied, and understand their contribution to company goals.
  • Provide knowledge and insight into best practices for a successful janitorial program.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of company goals and strategic vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 5-10 years of experience.
  • Janitorial/Facilities experience highly preferred.
  • May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
  • Ability to manage responsibilities in accordance with organization's policies and applicable laws, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning work, performance evaluations, rewarding/disciplining employees, addressing complaints, and resolving problems.
  • Ensure employees are properly trained on tasks and safety requirements.

Skills

  • Bilingual in Spanish highly preferred

Work Type

  • Monday - Friday (8am - 5pm)
  • On-call
  • Some weekend work

Experience Level

  • 5-10 years of experience

Education Level

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or a related field

Salary/Compensations

  • $165,000-$175,000
