About the Role
Amedisys is seeking a Home Health Speech Pathologist to provide essential care to patients in their homes, focusing on preventing, assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
Responsibilities
- Prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive communication, and swallowing disorders in adults.
- Provide aural rehabilitation for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.
- Provide augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) systems for individuals with severe expressive and/or language comprehension disorders.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Current, unencumbered license to practice speech pathology specific to the assigned state.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) with completed graduate coursework and clinical practicum from a CAA-accredited program.
- Current CPR certification.

- $65.00/hr to $75.00/hr
