About the Role
NEXT Electric, LLC is seeking an Electrical Project Manager to plan and organize electrical construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within quality standards while understanding customer expectations. This role involves site visits, client interaction, and vendor coordination.
Responsibilities
- Plans and organizes electrical construction projects.
- Ensures projects are completed on time and within quality standards.
- Visits construction sites and interacts with crew, customers, leaders, and general contractors.
- Reviews estimates with estimators prior to submittal to customer.
- Contacts vendors to obtain materials for projects.
- Processes required project paperwork.
- Promotes a safe working environment.
- Participates in annual performance evaluation process.
- Maintains employee relations.
- Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
- Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without current or future need for employer sponsorship.
- 3 or more years’ experience in PM role managing construction/electrical projects.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC).
- Experience with Accubid preferred.
- Proficient skills in use of a PC and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel and Word).
- Strong mathematical skills.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to communicate effectively using a variety of mediums.
- Successfully pass pre-employment (post offer) background check, MVR check when applicable, and drug-test as required.
