About the Role
As a Member Service Representative (MSR), you'll be at the heart of the member experience. You will build relationships, process transactions accurately, answer questions, and help members find financial solutions that support their goals. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, providing exceptional service, and making a difference in members' financial lives every day.
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional service by welcoming members, addressing inquiries, and resolving concerns with professionalism and care
- Process member transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining compliance with policies and regulatory requirements
- Build relationships with members by identifying needs and recommending products and services that align with their financial goals
- Provide guidance and connect members with specialized team members when additional expertise or services are needed
- Maintain knowledge of Visions products, services, and procedures through ongoing training and development
- Support branch operations through teamwork, flexibility, and a commitment to operational excellence
- Verify member identity and transaction authorization to help protect members and the organization from fraud
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of related experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal, customer service, and relationship-building abilities
- Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
- Associate degree preferred
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, banking or financial services industry
