About the Role

Peregrine helps public safety organizations, governments, and private-sector institutions address societal challenges with AI-enabled platforms. As the Manager, BI + Analytics Engineer, you will shape how data is modeled, accessed, and used, owning the internal analytics stack and partnering with cross-functional teams to translate data into actionable insights.

Responsibilities

• Own and scale the data warehouse to support a fast-growing Go-To-Market and product ecosystem.
• Build and maintain ETL pipelines using dbt to integrate data from various sources.
• Design reusable data models for reporting across Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance.
• Create dashboards and analyses to uncover trends in revenue, product usage, and customer behavior.
• Set up data quality checks and alerts for accurate and timely data.
• Support planning and forecasting by defining KPIs and building forward-looking models.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience as a BI Engineer, Analytics Engineer, or Data Engineer in a fast-growing tech environment.
• Strong command of SQL and data modeling best practices.
• Proficiency in dbt, modern data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and orchestration tools (Airflow, Prefect).
• Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Hex, Mode, Sigma, or similar.
• Strong product and business sense, balancing technical purity with speed, scalability, and impact.
• Comfort working autonomously and owning projects end-to-end.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
