About the Role

Leads the technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems, applying extensive knowledge to complex assignments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate coding, testing, implementation, and documentation of application solutions.
  • Lead and perform: Create test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on complex requirement documents and business User Stories.
  • Lead and perform: Develop and maintain automated test suites.
  • Lead and perform: Execute automated test cases, document test results, and raise defects.
  • Be responsible for component or end-to-end tracking of issues.
  • Utilize JIRA, Confluence, and qTest for test case management, defect management, and test reporting.
  • Participate in defect triage and Scrum meetings.
  • Test new technologies and system functionality to ensure business acceptance, user acceptance, and system integration.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members, stakeholders, and business partners using strong communication and stakeholder management techniques.
  • Continually enhance personal skills and build knowledge in all aspects of the organization, business, and information systems.
  • Use AI to improve QE/DEV efficiency.
  • Design, develop, deploy, and maintain production-grade Python applications for batch data processing, APIs, and web applications.
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines with tools such as GitHub Actions, automating build, test, and deployment workflows.

Requirements

  • Experience in QE Processes/Testing Methodologies, Testing Life Cycle, SDLC, and Defect Management processes for application testing, development, and support.
  • Hands-on experience with qTest, JIRA, and Confluence.
  • Experience in QA/test environments with a focus on technical, automated testing in various environments (Cloud, Unix/Linux, big data/Hadoop, data warehouse).
  • Strong problem-solving, design, and analytical skills with creative solutions for testing approaches in critical timelines.
  • Good hands-on experience in coding (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Excellent SQL script writing skills.
  • Good experience with ETL testing.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD automation (GitHub Actions preferred) and Git-based workflows.
  • Experience on Agile projects.
  • Excellent communication and effective negotiation skills.
  • Computer Engineering, Computer Science degree/diploma or equivalent experience.
